PATTERN PLACE is a crosscutting theme that inherently bridges the STEAM disciplines with a layered cultural and local emphasis. The goal for Pattern Place is for visitors to become immersed in observing, analyzing, predicting, and creating a wide range of visual and mathematical patterns in our world and discover that patterns are everywhere. From patterns on the facades to hexagon shaped furniture and graphics, geometric pattern is the environmental visual message and architectural form.
