MindSplash is a collaborative group of experienced professionals who have been creating unique, nationally recognized educational environments for museums and community spaces for a combined total of over 60 years.
Becky Lindsay, Creative Director
Becky has a deep understanding of the unique needs of museums and their visitors stemming from over 25 years of on-staff experience at nationally known museums including the Indianapolis Children's Museum, the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, the DuPage Children's Museum, the Connecticut Historical Society, and SciTech Museum. Her powerful air exhibits, developed while Principal Investigator for NSF's AirWorks for Kids, are one reason Mike Spock, considered the father of the children’s museum movement, described Becky as one of the top developers and designers in the country. He stated that AirWorks exhibits were the most exciting original exhibit work he had seen in ten years.

Robin Frisch, Experience Director
Robin has worked for over thirty years with children and their families in school, community, and museum settings, including the DuPage Children's Museum and Naper Settlement. Robin brings to the team knowledge and experience regarding children and how they play and learn, including a strong background in children with special needs. Robin earned her Master’s of Science degree in Child Development from the renowned Erikson Early Childhood Institute in Chicago, IL. She understands the need to create rich, meaningful, open-ended learning environments for young children and their families.

Kate Lindsay Scher, Exhibit & Project Designer
Kate is a seasoned design and project management professional supporting both corporate (Microsoft, Xbox, Sprint, Toyota, Siemens) and non-profit clients across industries. Kate brings a practical, efficient approach to projects, using tools like design principles, dynamic project maps, and project dashboards to keep teams on track. Most recently, Kate lead experience and graphic design projects for Magic City Discovery Center (Minot, ND), in addition to leading overall project management, exhibit budget process and tracking, and vendor management.
