Science Sprouts Place is an innovative environment for children birth to three years old that was developed using the latest research in child development. Unique exhibits were designed to build brain architecture which forms the basis of learning for the rest of their lives. Activities and experiences in Science Sprouts Place provides opportunities for rich interactions between children and their caregivers, so important for healthy brain development and forming meaningful attachments.

Science Sprouts Place addresses physical, cognitive and social-emotional development as it provides challenges that encourage young children to use creative problem solving skills while meeting the needs of a young child’s natural curiosity to explore their natural world.

 

Science Sprouts Place also offers caregiver resources that promote an understanding of child development and how the interactive, engaging experiences support growth and learning that can be continued far beyond the museum’s walls.
