New Museum Master Plan, Schematic & Environmental Design for Entire Museum, Exhibit Area Development & Design, Exhibit Fabrication & Installation of Discover My World Gallery & Oh Rubbish!

 

The Children's Discovery Museum in Normal, IL approached MindSplash as the museum prepared to move from an existing, smaller facility to a custom-created two-story facility with nearly four times the original square footage.

 

CDM wanted to keep the spirit of imagination they had in their prior site while adding more educational content and increasing the age range of visitors. In the Discover My World, Oh Rubbish and Up, Up & Away Galleries, MindSplash layered the exhibits with levels of experiences and added child-centered technology, so families with children of all ages could find something to do again and again.
